The Skripal Affair - manipulated intelligence for war

27 March 2018

There is no evidence.

Remember. We are the country of Iraq.

We spouted contrived evidence in 2 dossiers - and got a WAR. That war is estimated now to have caused 2.4m deaths in Iraq (mintpress). That is the level of depravity of the monsters who rule us (a Labour one in that case, almost completely backed by the Tories).

Former UK Ambassador, Craig Murray reports Porton Down could not identify what was used, not a novichok, not as Russian. And that they resented the pressure put on them by government.

See Craig Murray's blog (reprinted in earlier news articles here and here).

In Iraq's case, intelligence was sexed up, as Gilligan accurately reported in 2003, and as Dr David Kelly indicated, the former who lost his job, along with others at the BBC, the other his life - FOR TELLING A FRACTION OF THE TRUTH.

Remember. Iraq had not ONE weapon of mass destruction, WMD.

Luckily, no-one reminded Salisbury consultant Dr Stephen Davies.

Here's the Salisbury District Hospital A&E consultant going on the record to the Times saying NO ONE was treated for nerve agent. THREE were treated for 'poisoning'. (This will be the Skripals and the police officer).

This, like Iraq, is the level of lockstep the media is in - to manufacture our consent, as Chomsky told us in 1988.

Other world leaders know the game - they all have intelligence agencies - and they are playing along now - like they did back then.

Sir,

Further to your report (“Poison exposure leaves almost 40 needing treatment”, Mar 14), may I clarify that no patients have experienced symptoms of nerve agent poisoning in Salisbury and there have only ever been three patients with significant poisoning.

Several people have attended the emergency department concerned that they may have been exposed. None has had symptoms of poisoning and none has needed treatment. Any blood tests performed have shown no abnormality. No member of the public has been contaminated by the agent involved.

 - But these conclusions are not obvious to a lot of people.

A huge number are unable to keep their neutrality on matters like this. They believe the government and the media who parrot them. Iraq should teach us that government will tell lie upon lie to get a war - and the major media will uncritically back them.

A lot of people think the Skripals are dead! They're not. (They're not in a good way, as the High Court judgment explains (PDF)). They've apparently been in a coma the whole time, though I read somewhere this was medically induced, whatever poison is being dealt with).

A lot will have read 40 were poisoned. THREE were - and NO-ONE with 'nerve agent' according to the local A&E consultant, who wrote to the Times as above.

Now the story changes as Boris accuses Russia of illegal stockpiles, and bolsters NATO sanctions and aggression further towards Russia. These are all indicators of a bigger agenda. As is the UK refusing to follow protocol after a supposed attack like this.

Now a sample is with the OPCW who are due to report back in 2 or 3 weeks.

The power centres have a number of dominant society memes things like fake news, conspiracy theories tin foil hatters, but facts are stubborn things.

All news is only as good as its facts, evidence and context.

Rather than some random 'nerve agent' attack we're being sold, the proper context for the Skripal case is much more likely to be NATO aggression towards Russia.

This is Theresa May's Falklands - hopefully as close to war as she ever gets.

As has been pointed out before, this occurring a few weeks before the local elections, is likely to play well for her. But without evidece it's a busted flush. Trouble is, we're playing Blair poker here.

Back in 2003, Dr David Kelly brought further evidence to bear, from Porton Down. Despite being totally correct - while only questioning a fraction of the story - it appears to have cost him his life.

Let's hope the Skripals come out unscathed.
