The following is based on our 2015 mini-manifesto and provides an at-a-glance look at some Green Party policies. Updated, where needed, by Martin Deane, Hull.
BREXIT - It's no secret that Greens are fond of the EU. We have 60 MEPs in alliance across 28 states, and as the fourth biggest group we look to improve the lives of 350m people not just the 65m of the UK.
This election we offer people the vote to CHOOSE what sort of Brexit they want.
It's one thing to take back control from Brussels - it's another to take back control from Westminster.
Right now Brexit looks like it could cost £100 bn, as we face our responsibilities by leaving, and if we leave the EU trade area and freedom of movement, the likely cost will be billions more in trade and thousands of lost jobs.
Greens invite people to support a second referendum - to choose whether or not we leave the trade area, whether or not we abandon freedom of movement, which works both ways - and whether the whole thing should go back to the drawing board, given what has happened in the last year.
There is a lot at stake.
But Brexit isn't the only policy! At a General Election, all policies are to be tested and in the Green Party, we hope you will join us in voting for a fairer UK, not of endless greed and exploitation but a country committed to a fairer future of cooperation, growing sustainability and the Common Good.
