"I believe that we need to be the change we want to see in the world. I come from a very politically engaged family and from a country that, only 5 years before I was born, was still under a fascist dictatorship. The current form of the UK political system, including the broken and outdated First Past The Post voting system, is crippling any possibility of a truly democratic government.
The policies of the Green Party are the only ones that represent a more equal, sustainable, fair, and democratic alternative to a toxic, greed-driven government.
As a scientist, I know that climate change is the biggest threat facing humanity right now. The Green Party is the only party with clear policies to protect the environment, and to build a safe, equal, fair future for our children and grandchildren.
I believe it is extremely important to provide the electorate with the opportunity to vote for the Green Party, even in the context of our broken democratic system."
