East Riding councillors go Green

Two well-known Bridlington councillors have joined the Green PartyCouncillors Andy Walker and Tim Norman, who have represented Bridlington South so conscientiously for years, have made the move after concluding that only the Greens offer the bold, practical solutions needed to tackle the crises facing local people. This is a landmark for the local party as it gives East Riding of Yorkshire Council its first ever Green Party group.

Local Party Co-ordinator Stewart Arnold said:

“I’m delighted to welcome Andy and Tim. Their decision reflects what we’re hearing on the doorstep – people are fed up with the same old politics and are ready for something better.”
